This weekend was filled with a visit to Santa and hanging ornaments on our tree.

First Look at Winter

Winter is definitely here in Northern Michigan! Everything looks so pretty and white right now!

I was driving along and had an owl fly up in front of me. He perched himself in a tree next to the road long enough for me to get a few pictures. He was so pretty!

Good morning!
I have a little secret to share! I am not much of a baker!
It is much like sewing. I wish I could and would sew more, but truth be told I just don’t think baking or sewing are in the cards for me. I have baking in my blood! My grandmother used to do a lot of cake decorating. My aunt for years made homemade bread for the whole family. My little sister sews and bakes, but both have skipped me entirely! If I could and would bake I would love to create some of these yummy desserts.

One Last Look At Autumn

I don’t know about where you live, but here in Northern Michigan it has quickly turned from the vibrant beautiful colors of Fall to the cold, wet, sometimes snowy weather of (Pre) Winter. It is my least favorite time of year, but I really don’t live in the right state if I am going to complain about Winter now do I?

I am still so inspired by these fall photos that I wanted to just have one last look and then I will be all about Winter & the upcoming Holiday Season!
