House Haven Tour: Along the Dirt Road
Hi! I am Kelli from Along the Dirt Road. I am so honored that Chas invited me to share our home with you. Thanks so much Chas!
Our farmhouse is our little haven off of the beaten path. It’s a place of love where I only take décor in a seriously thrifted sort of way. It’s a place where my husband Ricky and I raise children, veggies and chickens. We also feed a couple of spoiled goats and a few dogs and cats too. We are so thankful that our home is a place for kids to roam and friends to linger. Come on in and pull up a chair. We are so glad to have you here!
Thank you so much for joining us here at Along the Dirt Road. It was a joy to share our home with you.

Shutter Jewelry Organizer
Good Morning!
As I have often shared, I finding new uses for old things. A while back I showed {THIS} driftwood jewelry organizer.
Since sharing that my necklace collection has grown and I needed more room to share more items. I had this shutter left over from our wedding décor and thought it would be perfect!
Another easy storage solution is adding lace to an embroidery hoop.
It works great for hanging earrings.
This favorite thrifty marble paper towel holder works great for bracelets.
What is your favorite way to organize jewelry?

Community Craft Night
Twice this Winter I have hosted a Craft Night in the Community Room of our local Chamber of Commerce! Gathering women together to create is a favorite activity of mine. I love the feeling I get when I can help someone make something they never imagined they would or even could make!
All the girls dove right into putting their own personality into their photo frame / message board.
I have provided the drink at each event and January in Michigan calls for a nice warm drink. It gave me the perfect opportunity to come up with a small hot cocoa bar. All the ladies are good sports and bring along a snack to share with one another.
I shared my photo frame {HERE}.
These are a few of the photos that were shared via Facebook of their creations:

Repurposed Window Photo Frame
Good Morning!
I wanted to take a moment to share my repurposed window frame!
I decided to make something that I could easily change out photos. I used a mixture of chicken wire and canvas burlap.
I love how it turned out!
Tomorrow I will be sharing a few photos from my January Craft Night.
Stop back by to see what a few of the others girls came up with for their windows!

Gathering Inspiration: Repurposed Windows
Hello Friends!
I was lucky enough to come across 16 of these great windows in December.
I knew right away that I could use them for an upcoming craft night.
I wanted to create some sort of message board or photo frame.
So I began gathering inspiration from these photos:
Aren’t those all great uses for an old discarded window?
