Our “Lil Monster” 1st Birthday Party

203

We celebrated our little guy’s 1st birthday with close friends and family.

I had been collecting ideas for quite some time for a “lil monster” birthday party on a {Pinterest} Board.

We chose to rent a space to host the party because our house is just not big enough in the Winter to host a party of 40 or more.

Each place setting had a monster cupcake, monster water bottle, monster bookmark, and a felt monster to be glued together by our “lil” guests.

I also constructed a little monster photo backdrop.

The kids loved constructing their monsters. I had everything precut and placed for them to just glue together so it was a simple and quick project for them to take home.

  2. How wonderful! I love monsters, especially for my little monsters!
I am stopping by from Wow me Wednesday--and I was looking through your projects--tons of great stuff!
I am hosting a link party for OLD projects--that's right, old posts, you know, the stuff we posted when only our husband and moms were reading our blogs (or was that just me?!?)
Hope you come link up and give some of these posts new exposure!

    1. I purchased them in the clearance section of Walmart. I purchases them about 6 months prior to the party and haven't seen them in stock since then.
