Loving my Pic Pack magnets.... |
This is a little trick I discovered a few months ago. I had a store bought fragrance diffuser that had dried up and was ready to be thrown out. I decided to try my making my own oil fragrance with a few things I had on hand around the house.
You will need the following:
Oil, Vanilla Extract, wooden skewers, & decorative bottle.
Start by adding vanilla extract to the bottom of the glass bottle.
Next add your oil.
The final step is to insert the wooden skewers.
In less than a week you will have vanilla scent filling the space where you sat the diffuser.
I am very blessed to be surrounded by loving, supportive and helpful friends and family. Last Sunday I was able to have a few of my bridesmaids over to help out with some wedding crafting and tasks. We worked on wrapping old jars with canvas burlap and lace, cutting out bunting flags and punching paper hearts. Later in the evening I was able to start assembling our guest sign-in. I wanted something creative and untraditional. After scouring Pinterest I came across this photo and decided to use it as my inspiration piece.

Earlier in May I had purchased a 32 X 32 blank canvas from Hobby Lobby and cream canvas frabric from Walmart. I wrapped the canvas in the fabric and stapled it along the back. I then got to work laying out a pattern with the paper hearts.
A quarter of the way through the project I realized I needed more hearts so I decided to add a third color to the pattern.
I am in love with how it turned out! I can’t wait to have it displayed for all of friends and family. Our wedding countdown has begun…78 days
