We finally made it to Lake Michigan for a day. It turned out to be a beautiful day to be at the beach.
Quick Beach Tip: Apply baby powder to your feet to help keep the sand from sticking to you. It works wonders!

Every year on Mother’s Day my kids and I take a trip to Lake Michigan to search for beach glass.
We have a small collection that I love and I wanted a way to display some of it.

I don’t know about you, but here in Michigan we have had snow everyday this week.
Instead of all the snow I wish I was building sandcastles, searching for beach glass and shells, or collecting driftwood on the beach.
