an answer to Tammy...I just used a black sharpie and drew the eyes and mouth. I glued on card stock cut into the shape of a carrot for the nose. Thank you for all your great comments.

The strips are attached from the outside. That lets you put a tealite candle in them to illuminate them. Thank you for all the wonderful comments! Blessings!
