Mercury Glass Mason Jars

Happy Weekend!

I wanted to share a fun, simple craft today!

Mercury Glass Mason Jars @ http://onewomenshaven.blogspot.com/

Items needed:

Krylon Looking Glass Spray Paint
Mason Jars
Spray Bottle
Vinegar
Water
Paper Towel

-Mix equal parts vinegar & water into a spray bottle
-Spray mason jar with water mixture
-Quickly begin spraying mason jar with the Looking Glass Spray Paint
-Spray Paint will appear to have bubbles where the water mixture is
-Let spray paint dry on mason jar
-Once dry…lightly wipe down the jar, “popping” the bubbles from the water mixture

  7. I love mercury glass and have made some vases using this technique, only in reverse. I painted first, then sprayed vinegar water. I'll have to try your way! Love the mason jar version. Thank you for sharing itand your Valentine post at What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Blessings, Deborah
