Winter is definitely here in Northern Michigan! Everything looks so pretty and white right now!
I was driving along and had an owl fly up in front of me. He perched himself in a tree next to the road long enough for me to get a few pictures. He was so pretty!
Although Winter is by far not my favorite season I do love photographing the beauty of Winter. Last night was our first snow fall. I love the enchantment and wonder of the first snowfall. It seems to slow everything down and quiet our environment.
It has been foggy and rainy all week. I don’t mind it because it adds to the ambiance of Fall. It makes me want to make soup or stew and stay inside where it is cozy warm. Unfortunately the cold weather has also brought on a case of the sniffles for me, but hopefully with lots of rest it will pass quickly.
5 1/2 months….our little one is very active and moving around a lot!
We traveled to Traverse City this week to do a little shopping for school clothes and maternity clothes. Once done at the mall we headed to Leland to enjoy some time at the beach. The waves were too big for swimming, but Easton was able to get into the water far enough to enjoy the water.
The day turned out to be a beautiful day! Sunny skies, nice breeze, and turquoise blue water.
After enjoying the beach at Leland we traveled a little farther North to a beach we love to visit for Petoskey stone searching.
I was lucky enough to find a couple Petoskey stones!
