Happy Sunday!

How have you been?
I would be better, but it is snowing today in Michigan!
Dark, gloomy, windy  & snowing!
Winter really does hold on until the last possible moment for us.

I am so ready for Spring!
I keep adding touches of it here and there throughout our home with flowers and new house plants. I do not have much of a green thumb, but I keep trying!

One way I added some Spring to our house is with this wine bottle vase.

I originally saw this simple craft at Shanty-2-Chic!

It was so fun and easy to make!

Just a few hardware pieces from your local home maintenance store

& a 18 inch board is all you need!

I also love that you really can use a variety of flower stems in it!

Happy Monday!

It has been a busy few weeks!

My Let’s Create events have been in full swing over the last month.

In February we made monogram photo frames.

This month we crafted Spring Monogram Wreaths!

And we celebrated a birthday this last weekend by making wine bottle wind chimes…

It has been a fun couple months at our events!

Spring will continue to be busy for us!

Simple Fun with Crayons

Happy Friday!

Our little guy loves to help around the house! He loves to help with cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I try my best to do little crafty projects with him from time to time so that he get get messy doing what I love!

He also loves, loves playing with his toy cars. Semi trucks and police cars are especially his favorite to play with. When I came across this silicone car mold I knew we would have fun with it.

He could easily help with taking off the crayon wrappers, sorting the colors, breaking them into pieces, and then filling the mold.

After they were done melting and cooling he had fun coloring and then lining them all up.

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?

It was a cold snowy weekend here in Michigan! The kind that make you just want to stay inside. Which is exactly what we did all weekend!

No shame in being homebodies! My introverted ways actually need full weekends at home once in awhile.

Have I ever shared how much I love to repurpose things into something new?

After hosting the Let’s Create! Jewelry Organizer Event, I had a a handful of door knobs still in my crafting supplies and needed a use for them.

I painted up a couple old shutters and added an assortment of knobs to them. I made one for me and a friend wanted one for her entry way too.

I love how they both turned out!

I hung mine by the back entrance coming into our kitchen.

It has been a great landing place as we unload coming into the house.

We use it everyday!
